Jim Poynter, President
Jim began his career with MVP Athletic Supplies in 1981 working in the warehouse and then moved into team and association sales and purchasing of equipment and uniforms.
Shawn Hancheroff, Sales Manager, Burnaby
Shawn is our 'Football Expert". He specializes in all aspects of football purchasing and sales. He is also a leader in sales of baseball and softball equipment, uniforms and custom logo balls.
Shawn successfully completed the 2011 Ride to Conquer Cancer with team 'Chain Reaction' and is now training once again for the 2012 Ride.
Carol Hancheroff, Office Manager
One of the original founding members of MVP Athletic Supplies, Carol looks after our Accounts Payable, as well as office operations.
Sylvia Wilcott, Office Manager
Prior to coming to MVP in 2005, Sylvia had worked in the sporting goods industry for 22 years. She overlooks the website and office operations.
Ashley Renaud, Team and Retail Sales, Burnaby
Ashley looks after our retail sales floor, as well as custom uniforms, team and association sales. Ashley is also involved in football purchasing with Shawn.
After completing the 2011 Ride to Conquer Cancer bike ride with team 'Chain Reaction', Ashley has been training once again for the 2012 Ride.
Kathy Lane, Team and Retail Sales, Burnaby
Kathy joined our sales team in 2008. But, she has worked on our print catalogue for the past 10 years.
Kathy has been very involved with local fastpitch teams for many years.
Matt Wilcott, Sales Manager, Langley
Matt has been with MVP Athletic Supplies since 1999. He has been successfully managing our Langley location since its inception. Matt specializes in team and association sales, custom uniforms, retail sales and baseball / softball purchasing. Matt has also played on various softball teams over the years.
In 2010, Matt successfully completed the Ride To Conquer Cancer bike ride from Surrey to Seattle, raising nearly $8000 alone. After his success, many friends and family members wanted to join him, so along with his wife Kyley they start a team 'Chain Reaction'. Together in 2011, they raised over $70,000.00. They are currently training for the 2012 Ride.
Kyley Wilcott, Team and Retail Sales, Langley
Kyley has been working at MVP since high school. She takes care of the office operations in Langley, as well as retail sales and baseball / softball purchasing.
Kyley has been involved with various fastpitch and slo-pitch teams for more than 20 years. She, along with her husband Matt had organized 25 friends and family members to form team 'Chain Reaction' for the 2011 Ride to Conquer Cancer bike ride. The team raised over $70,000.00 last year and is continuing the tradition by training for next year's 2012 Ride.
Courtney Whitfield, Retail Sales, Langley
Courtney has worked at our Langley retail store since its opening. She is becoming more involved in team sales, as well as the retail sales.
Courtney has been playing on and coaching fastpitch teams in the lower mainland area for many years. Last year, she had completed the 2011 Ride to Conquer Cancer with team 'Chain Reaction'. She is currently training for the 2012 Ride, as well as a triathalon.
Wayne Trewern, Warehouse, Burnaby
Wayne has been running our warehouse operations since 2002. He has many years of previous warehouse experience.
Hoa Phan, Seamstress, Burnaby
Hoa has been our full time seamstress since 1992. She has proven to be an integral member of our team, helping to customize the team uniforms.
TJ Code, Retail and Team Sales, Langley,
TJ has been working at our Langley location on the retail floor since January 2010.
He has been playing baseball in Langley since he was 11 years old. TJ went on to play college ball in Missouri and has been coaching the Langley Blaze since his return. TJ is also very active in both ice and road hockey.
Allan Creasy, Team and Retail Sales, Burnaby
Allan had joined our team at MVP in early 2011.
Marie-Claire Renaud, Internet and Retail Sales, Burnaby
Marie-Claire has been with MVP since early 2011. She has been in charge of the internet orders as well as assisting on the retail floor and warehouse. Her dedication to customer service has been greatly appreciated by all.
In her spare time, Marie-Claire also manages to play on a softball team.
