The 2027 A2000® 1673SS is a 13” first base mitt designed to serve as a massive target at first base. The cut-out construction–where the glove separates between the toe and palm–creates a larger catching area, meaning a wider space within the palm where the ball can hit and reliably be funneled into the pocket. Additionally, this design is easier to break in than traditional first base mitts.
